GS files are changed into xg instruments ... but some sounds make unexpectedly megavoices . Why not just load GS and adjust the sounds yourself. That would be better. The GS bank from Genos is already very good.

Hello Sjaak,
i don't beleive you can mix GS and XG voices.
You need a Reset-GS sysex to change the engine to GS and then you can use the GS voices.
Then send a Reset-XG sysex to change the engine to XG (or native) and then you can use the XG voices.
